My wife and I had the pleasure of  meeting PJ when he was hosting an open house in our neighborhood. LOL we were nosey neighbors and wanted to see the competition as we were going to sell our home.

I’ve been working w/ PJ on the purchase of a new home wherein our search started out looking for a single family home then switched to a townhome. PJ was very patient and understanding in my change of heart and we even discussed my lifestyle, what the obligations and responsibilities were of each and what suited me best.

As we looked at properties, sometimes more than once at the same property, PJ pointed things out that I overlooked, we sat in each room and got a feel of what it would be like to live there, he gave me adequate info to be able to make an informed decision and I believe that the property that I am getting ready to close on was the best choice for me.

And yes, I would recommend him

Good evening. I wanted to take a moment to weigh in on P.J. Evans and Katherine Tompkins performance as  Realtors. My perspective is based on working closely with them and their clients in a lending capacity. As a mortgage banker, I work with many real estate agents, and Evans + Tompkins Realty Team is truly amongst the best in our market. They are unique in that they excel in sales and negotiations but also in the more technical sides of the business. This results in well-negotiated transactions reduced to contracts that close smoothly.

Being responsive, communicative, and detailed are some of P.J.’s  and Katherine's traits that serve their clients very well. People love doing business with them, but most importantly, they are extremely effective!

I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My wife and I have known P.J. for about a year in his capacity as a Keller Willliams agent. I was first impressed with the written communication which P.J. had sent to us as prospective clients (as we live only about a quarter of mile from his home in Glen Hollow South); and when we decided that we wanted to downsize, we contacted P.J. to help us. We have found him to be very professional and conscientious in working with us to find the home we want to live in for the rest of our lives. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and accessible and has been very easy to work with on our search. P.J. has earned our trust and respect. I highly recommend P.J. for your favorable considerable as you are making your decision on a listing agent.

In the past I’ve never had a realtor I thought did something I couldn’t have done myself. I was so fed up with realtors that never responded or would show us homes that were so far away from what we were looking for. So when we relocated to Dallas from Austin, I wasn’t expecting much.

Before we even met PJ I’d emailed him maybe 50 times about what we were looking for, houses I’d found on the net, his experiences in DFW, etc. He was always responsive and always gave honest feedback. It was so refreshing. I can be a lot for realtors, I’m sure, I email and ask a lot of questions, but PJ was totally there with me. He listened to what we wanted and always offered options right in line with what we were looking for.

We were in the middle of a move to DFW with two small kids, so often times PJ would go look at houses for us, video his walk thru’s and send us his flat out honest opinions. Which we really appreciated. There were no silly games. He’d say, I don’t think this is the house for you because… But if you still want to look at it, we can definitely tour it when you’re in town.

We put in an offer on our current house all with PJ’s guidance on pricing. We ended up offering over asking as they already had three offers in place. They chose our offer bbecause PJ suggested we pay for a few other closing things that made us more attractive buyers, totally negligible costs. I never would have thought it would work, but it did! He knows what he’s doing!

He really was great through our entire process. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. We are about to start looking for a second property (rental) and we will for sure use PJ. Since we moved he’s been a good friend and has always asked how our kids are, by name.

He’s such a great guy and a fabulous realtor. I don’t think you could find anyone better.

Purchasing a home is very PERSONAL....you need someone who really knows you and is willing to work towards YOUR personal goals. That is what Katherine Tompkins has done for me. She is not just a REALTOR...she is a FRIEND.
